(May) Nourishing Ourselves as Therapists: Reclaiming Our Mind-Body Connection presented by Bethlyn Johnson, MS, LCMHC, LCPC, NCC.
This training explored the unique challenges therapists face when it comes to self-care, body image, and practicing the same compassion we encourage in our clients. Participants learned how to navigate the pressures of diet culture and the "therapist paradox" while integrating Health At Every Size principles into both their clinical work and personal lives.

This CEU presentation offered an overview of play therapy as an intervention model for children age 3-12, along with a deeper exploration of child-centered play therapy (CCPT). Clinicians gained a clearer understanding of what this approach looks like in practice, how to apply it, and how to effectively work with children and families through a child-centered lens.
